DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)

Looking for help and healing with the hurt of separation or divorce?

 

DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face the challenges of divorce and move toward rebuilding your life. The program is built on an excellent Christian-based curriculum that has proven to be widely popular and very beneficial to the healing process. The class format is a combination of video and confidential small group discussion. Topics include "Facing my Anger," "Financial Survival," Facing Loneliness," and "Reconciliation," and more. Learn more about the topics covered in DivorceCare.

2017 Seminar Dates for DivorceCare

January 10 - April 4

This course meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:15. The cost is $30, which covers materials and snacks. Scholarships are available. You can join DivorceCare at any time throughout the seminar. Child care is available for children ages 0 - 5 with a 48-hour advance reservation to 214-368-6348, ext. 108.

 DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)

This special group is to help children heal from the separation or divorce of his or her parents. DC4K is also a eleven-week course that meets concurrently with the DivorceCareseminar. Here, kids make friends with others who understand how they feel and what they're going through. This course is for kids ages 6 (by September 1) - 12. They'll spend time in games, story time, DVD dramas, music, group discussion, and crafts. Facilitators are trained to help children feel safe in the classroom as they share their feelings as they learn to adjust to their home situations.


Classes meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:15. The cost is $20 for the first child and $15 for each additional child.
