Preston Hollow Presbyterian School
Preston Hollow Presbyterian Preschool
Founded in 1953, Preston Hollow Presbyterian Preschool is a preschool program for children ages 10 months through pre-kindergarten. We focus on the development of self-esteem while providing activities that stimulate a child’s awareness of the world around him or her and the expansion of language and listening skills.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a warm, loving, and supportive environment in which children will develop a love of learning and a love of school. For more information, please contact the Preschool Office at 214-369-1395.

Preston Hollow Presbyterian School
Since our founding in 1962, Preston Hollow Presbyterian School has been dedicated to educating children of average to above average intelligence with mild to moderate learning disabilities. As a private coeducational day school, we currently enroll 120 students each year in thirteen classes in grades K-6. We are a non-profit school to which students are accepted without regard to race, sex, religion or national origin.
The types of learning disabilities served by our school include:
- reading disability (dyslexia)
- auditory processing disorder
- oral language disorder
- written language disorder
- mathematical disability
Preston Hollow Presbyterian School strives to provide a positive, nurturing, individualized approach to teaching to remediate a child’s weaknesses and build on his or her strengths. Some of our approaches include:
- small classes containing eight to eleven children
- five floating remedial specialists and teachers aides to insure small group instruction
- many opportunities for one-on-one instruction
- a multi-sensory, research-based curriculum that provides an opportunity for each student to be challenged and to excel
